About GothStock The Festival
GothStock is a 2005 Music Festival featuring 46 different artists from all over United States and Canada. A two-day gathering of live music and entertainment to celebrate the beauty and dark lifestyle of sometimes misunderstood by the mainstream Gothic subculture will be held at Webster Theatre at Hartford, CT on September 24-25 2005. GothStock aimed to bring you the best of dark music and culture.
GothStock is quickly gaining support from the Gothic community all around the world. The great demand for this kind of event has been expressed through numerous e-mails, message boards, and online groups where we promoted our ideal. Starting out as a one-time gathering, GothStock has a definite potential to grow into a yearly national, and later, a worldwide event. This year GothStock is featuring major and independent acts such as Genitorturers, Cruxshadows, Project 44 (with the members of Thrill Kill Cult and VooDoo); The Last Dance, Combichrist, Bella Morte, Carfax Abbey, Dead Emotion, Ego Likeness and more.
With small vendors selling Goth-related merchandise, charities and giveaways two nights long, GothStock is geared up for people of dark walks of life to come together raising awareness for a peaceful, Gothic community. A portion of the profits of this event will go to charities that support our cause.
Although it is our first year of doing the event like GothStock, members involved in putting this festival together all have years of experience, specializing in this and like genres of music, promotion, advertising, business skills and even video / DVD production availability. Here’s a little information on who’s who behind GothStock 2005.

What We Need From You
Like we mentioned before, GothStock is looking for sponsors to help with some of the financial needs we are facing in putting together an event of this size. Currently we are looking for monetary or service contributions covering the following expenses:

Goth Stock is a unique event that serves Gothic subculture and underground scene to help promote its performers, vendors and community. GothStock Music Festival: Independent Musicians Take Charge of Their Own Career
Local promoters are making a bold move putting together a two-day major event on September 24-25, 2005, billed as GothStock Festival, to be held at Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT. GothStock Festival is a time to celebrate the dark lifestyle with music, fun and entertainment and to display the beauty that is sometimes misunderstood by the mainstream.
As an answer to the major records labels suffering with the sluggish sales and lack of interest to new music, independent companies are pulling together in an effort to create an event sure to surpass the major events of its kind. GothStock is featuring over 40 different artists from all over the country including acts as Genitorturers, Cruxshadows, The Last Dance, Bella Morte, Carfax Abbey, Dead Emotion, Ego Likeness and more. GothStock is geared up for people of different subcultures to come together raising awareness for a peaceful community that supports children, treatment of illness and animal rights. A portion of the profits of this event will go to charities that support that cause.
“This is our answer to a scene which the mainstream doesn’t care about and no one wants to do anything to promote”, says Charles Cudd, CEO of New Goth America Inc, the main presenter of the event. He is not alone. Hot Picks USA has endorsed three of the GothStock bands – Sister Kill Cycle, The Blessed Virgin Larry and Dead Emotion. Wild Cauldron Productions, Volume Magazine, Rapture Radio, and the Independent Music Conference are among the growing sponsors and supporters of the festival.
Other presenters of GothStock are Lethal Zone Productions, an independent production company specializing in the right size room for the right size event, which has worked with many of NYC finest venues such as Tramps, Lime Light, The Bank, Wetlands, Down Time, Continental and the Spiral; Artillery Promotion, which specializes on promoting metal events and managing local death and metal bands such as Scorched Earth and Dead Man Society; Evil Empire Entertainment – NY and NJ’s own Media company that focuses on events, underground music and television; WC Productions - New Jersey's premiere promotions and publicity firm as well as parent company of The Wild Cauldron music and entertainment publication; and Axis Video - NJ independent music and film production company, with such classics under it’s belt as “Dynasty of Darkness”, Dead Emotion’s music video “Bytch” and “Nothing To Die For” and feature short films.
