Damn. It's been THAT LONG since I've updated this page? Well, I have GREAT NEWS!
I have been working very hard to save my cash to get the DVD going.....I have finally done it!
It has cost me "x" amt to get the gear I needed to install into my computer plus a mini DVD vid cam...we all know how much this stuff costs.
Nevertheless, I am able to produce results at a fairly quick rate now.
PLEASE READ ON!!!
We recorded the first 3 songs of everyone's set and is now available (unedited) for the bands.
Pricing will be as follows:
If your band signed the GS Video contract and paid your fee to have one song featured on the GS DVD, your footage is FREE.
If your band DID NOT sign the contract, you may order your UNEDITED footage via PAYPAL for $50 and you get 30 seconds on the GS DVD.
For your bands footage FULLY EDITED as a LIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO, we are still working out pricing, so be patient!
The Official GothStock DVD will be going for $20 upon completion.

GothStock YEARBOOK and DVD Update Friday December 23rd, 2005
OK, so it really hasn't been that long since the last update - which is fine - however the GothStock DVD and Yearbook will be (and is slowly) taking shape.
I personally have to apologize for the holdup, however, there have been (as some of you might or might not know) some major changes made in the GS staff.
Some of these changes have taken a very heavy hit on the GS crew (and who is left of it) so it has made it rather difficult to produce the product we wish to bring you.
This is not to say that we won't so let me squash that now. It's just going to take us a little while...
Being we are not a big company with many connections or any funding except for our own pockets, we have to rely on ourselves.
I'm very sure this is obvious....We are an Indie Company. Maybe it's not so obvious...who knows right?
Nevertheless,the project itself is Gargantuan. 3 DVDs per band, 48 bands...you do the math. That's a LOT of hours!
The company that we have employed is American Ape - I know that I announced this in the last newsletter, but it bears mentioning again.
They are a local company from Astoria, NY so please check them out.
Let me assure you though, the end result will be excellent and well worth the wait.
On the flipside to all this, a bit of GOOD news!
So, for now, this is all the news that is fit to print, and I will keep everyone updated with all progress.
